Diébédo Francis Kéré  (Architect / Winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize2022)

 

The internationally acclaimed architect FrancisKéré garnered critical praise from the beginning of his architectural practicewhen awarded the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture (2004) for hisfirst ever building - a primary school he designed, raised the funds for andrealised in collaboration with the residents of his native Gando, Burkina Faso.

 

 

Kéré has gone on to become one of the mostdistinguished contemporary architects thanks to his pioneering of a communalapproach to design and his commitment to sustainable materials, as well asmodes of construction. Most prominently these include his design for the BeninNational Parliament (currently under construction), the Kamwokya CommunityCenter in Uganda (2022) and the Startup Lions Campus in Kenya (2021), Xylem(2019), a gathering pavilion for the Tippet Rise Art Center.

Cristina Celestino (Architect &Designer)

 

 

Cristina Celestino (*1980, Pordenone) established herstudio in Milan in 2013. After graduating in 2005 from the IUAV School ofArchitecture in Venice, she worked with various design studios, focusing oninterior architecture and design. In 2011 she created her own design brand,Attico Design.

The activities of Cristina Celestino and her studio rangefrom residential, hospitality and commercial projects to creative direction andproduct design.

 

Cristinahas been featured in prominent publications, including being mentioned formultiple years in AD 100 best designer’s selection, Domus, Elle Decor,Wallpaper, AD, Ideat and Vogue. In 2016 she was conferred the special juryprize at Salone del Mobile, and in 2022 by Maison & Objet the ‘BestDesigner of the Year’ award.

A.A.Murakami  (Azusa Murakami & Alexander Groves) Founder/ Director,Studio Swine

 

A.A.Murakami is a London/Tokyo based Artist duo and arealso the founders of Studio Swine. Their unique sensory installations are anongoing series of works they call “Ephemeral Tech” where the boundaries betweendigital technology and natural forces are dissolved to create unnatural phenomenausing real materials that engage all your senses beyond the standard visualstimuli of flat screens, projections and LED arrays. Ephemeral Tech looks to afuture where technology transcends the familiar interfaces and becomesinseparable from both our built and our natural environments. 

 

Notable projects include: ‘Under a Flowing Field(2023)’,an installation which comprises 60 tubes of krypton in a state of plasma at theHyudai Motorstudio Busan, participation for the exhibition ‘CloudWalkers’(2022) at Leeum Museum of Art, ‘Infinity Blue (2018)’, a monumentalbreathing sculpture that pays homage to one of the world’s smallest but mostimportant organisms, cyanobacteria, on permanent display at the Eden Project inCornwall; and ‘New Spring(2017)’, a tree-like structure that emits scented mistbubbles, commissioned by COS. 

 

The artists’ work is included in the permanentcollections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Centre Pompidou, Paris,the Vitra Design Museum, Germany. and M+, Hong Kong.

Dan Goods  (Creative Director)

 

 

Dan Goods is passionate about creating moments where people are remindedof the gift and privilege of being alive. During the day he leads an amazingteam of creatives at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory transforming complexconcepts into meaningful stories that can be universally understood. The teamswork is seen in public spaces, art museums, and is in outer space.

 

He recently finished working with the Museum of the Future in Dubai, andis now trying to simulate the feeling of being in a room singing with a millionother people.

 

 

Dan was honored with NASA’s Exceptional Public Service Award. In thepast he was selected as “One of the most interesting people in Los Angeles” bythe LA Weekly. In 2002 he graduated valedictorian from the graphic designprogram at Art Center College of Design.

Since1996 he has been a member of the stylistic consultancy and research of new"trends" Project Group SRL, owner of the brands "Lebelleforme"and "fashion & design lab".

Kathleen Kye (CEO and Director, FashionBrand KYE and EYEYE)

 

 

After obtaining BA and MA fashion at London’sCentral Saint Martins in 2011, Kathleen Kye launched her brand KYE. KYE’sstrong statement of unisex high-end streetwear and representation of youthculture gained KYE recognition of one of the leading young brand andinfluencing young designer in Korea.

 

 

KYE’s talent is noticed by many prestigiousorganizations. Her first recognition was by Vauxhall fashion scout in LondonFashion Week, where she showed her first collection. After she moved to Seoul,she soon sponsored by Korean government to be selected as Concept Korea, andstarted showing during New York Fashion Week. In 2014, KYE was one of the LVMHPrize semifinalists. In the same year, she received SFDF Award, Samsung Fashion& Design Fund. Also, KYE was selected as 10 Asian Designers to Watch byHong Kong Design Center in 2016 and selected as one of the 30 under 30: ForbesAsia in 2017, and later selected as 2019’s 2030 power leader by Forbes Korea.
